Equality North East

Established in 1994, Equality North East Ltd was part of a national initiative supported by the Department for Employment and Education (DfEE) and the Equal Opportunities Commission. It became an independent, not for profit organisation in 1997 with a general aim of working toward removing the barriers to employment for all, ultimately improving economic and social life within the region.
