The Workshops

Workshop 1 - Transparency, Paul Johnstone, Muckle LLP
The Equality Bill will include measures to increase transparency in the workplace. This workshop will look at those measures, in particular transparency around pay.

Workshop 2 - Age - Chris Maddock, Muckle LLP.
The Equality Bill will extend the cover of age discrimination. This workshop will look at the impact of that extension, both in and out of the workplace

Workshop 3 - Positive Action - Christine Shanks & Rachel Beadle, Equality North East
This workshop will improve understanding of positive action by looking at some current case studies and discussion on how the Bill intends to extend the scope.

Workshop 4 - Equality Bill - Private & Third Sector Impact - John Raine, Equality North East & Rachel Anderson, NECC.
The Bill will require the Public Sector to use procurement to improve equality and diversity in its supply chain. This workshop will explore how that might impact on Private & Third Sector employers.
