HARMAN LAUNCHES A NEW WAR ON THE MIDDLE CLASS
HARRIET Harman has stepped up her drive to force hospitals, schools and local councils to discriminate against the middle classes.
The Labour Deputy Leader and Equalities Minister set out details of proposals to legally oblige all public bodies to make narrowing the gap between rich and poor their top priority.
The move � part of her controversial Equality Bill � will mean town halls and other public service bodies have to direct their attentions towards disadvantaged neighbourhoods at the expense of better-off districts.
But last night her proposals were derided as a return to the bad old days of Old Labour �class warfare�.
