Government review of the Public Sector Equality Duty

On 15 May 2012, the Home Secretary announced a review of the Public Sector Equality Duty, as part of the outcome of the Red Tape Challenge spotlight on equalities.

Further details of the review, including members of the independent steering group appointed to oversee the review, were published on 28 November 2012.

The review is expected to be completed by April 2013.
