We will assess the impact of your work towards your staff and learners in relation to equality and diversity and support you with those findings.
The Equality Standard will:
- Help you gain an understanding of good equality and diversity provision
- Provide a link to model policies and procedures
- Identify equality and diversity training needs
- Give you help / advice / tips for working with employers to break down barriers to gender specific stereotypical roles
- Show you how you can �make equality a reality� for learners and your workforce
- Help you retain good staff
- Help you focus on the needs of your learners but most importantly, identify the areas which you need to address in order to ensure compliance
- Help you to identify any personnel needs such as staff training and
supporting staff with appraisals - Help you become transparent and consistent
- Help identify your quality of provision and enhance it
- Support you in helping learners understand their rights and responsibilities at work
- Involve staff and learners in community based development activities and projects
