Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Journalism and Digital Communication

We are looking for an individual with a good honours degree and higher degree in a relevant discipline, plus significant practical experience, to provide learning, teaching and assessment within the academic discipline of Journalism and Digital Communication. You will also be required to undertake research/scholarly activity and/or consultancy and where necessary establish and maintain effective liaison with external organisations.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of contributing to curriculum design and development and be willing to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Specialist expertise of working in digital publishing and journalism to senior level is essential as is the understanding of current trends and challenges within digital publishing and communications and a proven record of identifying and developing solutions in a professional publishing environment.
